MADISON – Farmers are encouraged to register to attend a free Dairy Revenue Protection seminars hosted by Rural Mutual Insurance Company.

Dairy Revenue Protection is designed to help farmers manage against unanticipated declines in revenue from milk price volatility. It was developed by the American Farm Bureau in collaboration with the Risk Management Association of the USDA.

Rural Mutual, with support from American Farm Bureau Insurance Services, Inc., will be hosting informational seminars across the state about Dairy Revenue Protection. American Farm Bureau’s Chief Economist John Newton, who played a significant role in creation of the product will be the main presenter.

Farmers are encouraged to attend one of the following seminars:

September 24—2:30 p.m., Crowne Plaza, 4402 East Washington Ave., Madison; 7 p.m., White House Wyndham, 1450 Veterans Dr., RIchland Center.

September 25—11 a.m., Green Mill Restaurant and Bar, 2703 Craig Road, Eau Claire; 11 a.m., Westwood Conference Cetner, 1800 Westwood Center Blvd., Wausau; 7 p.m., Holiday Inn and Conference Center, 150 N. Nicolet Road, Appleton.
