Kunz of Waupun FFA wins Jr. High essay contest
MADISON - Makenna Kunz of the Waupun FFA is the winner of the Junior High Essay contest.
The objective of the contest is to promote proficiency in writing and communication skills and to gain a better understanding of the FFA organization and its attributes through a designated theme.
All FFA members in eighth grade and under were eligible to submit an entry in the essay contest at the local level. Joining Kunz in the top four finalists were: Macie Kruse, Elkhorn FFA, second; Clara Sedlar, Weyauwega-Fremont FFA, third and Zoey Slaby, Cochrane-Fountain City FFA, fourth.
Sectional Winners include: Section 1, Kylee Traaseth-New Auburn; Section III, Zoey Slaby-Cochrane-Fountain City; Section VI, Makenna Kunz-Waupun; Section VII, Clare Viau-Stevens Point; Section VIII, Clara Sedlar-Weyauwega-Fremont; Section IX, Paige Hoffman-Mishicot and Section X, Macie Kruse-Elkhorn.
