Man dead following Marathon County tractor accident

VILLAGE OF MAINE - A Marathon County man is dead after being pinned underneath the tractor he was driving Sunday evening about 16 miles north of Wausau, according to authorities.
The man was operating the farm tractor on Naugart Drive, just west of North 60th Avenue in the village of Maine when he entered the north ditch, according to the Marathon County Sheriff's Department. The tractor overturned, ejecting the driving and pinning him under the tractor's rear wheel, according to the department.
A caller reported the accident at 9:06 p.m. Sunday, according to the Sheriff's Department. Main Emergency Medical Services and the Wausau Fire Department responded to the scene, but the man was pronounced dead, according to a news release.
