Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin (PDPW) will be offering farmers two World Class webinars on meeting challenging times during the downturn in the dairy industry.

Sessions for 'Success During an Economic Reset' will be held on June 8 and July 6, and will be presented by Dr. Dave Kohl. Both webinars will be aired from noon to 1 p.m. on both days.

The first webinar 'Position your Dairy for Economic Success' will be held on June 8. Participants must register by June 1.

The wild world of global and domestic economics is throwing curve balls to dairy farmers and those that serve the industry, including lenders and agribusinesses. This webinar will first examine the state of global and domestic trends that will continue to influence the industry regardless if you are an established dairy, a startup operation, or one in transition. It will also challenge the mindset of the industry which could be pertinent to strategic business planning.

Dr. Kohl will answer ten of today's most commonly asked questions by dairy farmers. Everyone in the dairy industry will benefit from this webinar.

The second webinar, 'Financial and Management Strategies in the Dairy Economic Reset' will be presented on July 6. Participants must register by June 29.

Dr. Kohl will speak on how the current economic challenge for the dairy industry is much different than previous resets in the last decade. He will present various tools for producers to utilize in this economically challenging phase.

In addition, he will explain key financial metrics as well as ways farmers and lenders can strategize side by side to develop solutions for this economic period. As a mid-year check point, this webinar will serve as a valuable tool with which to monitor your business progress. This webinar is pertinent for all those connected to your business.

Visit PDPW.org to register. Cost of the webinars is $100/session per members and $125 for non-PDPW members.
