EAU CLAIRE

Buzz about heirloom vegetables seems to be everywhere including cooking shows.

But what are heirlooms? Why do people plant them? What makes an heirloom an heirloom? How many varieties are there?

Join the Eau Claire Area Master Gardeners (ECAMGA) at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, at the UW Extension Office as Andy Heren and Gary Mathis give their presentation on heirlooms - from vegetables to flowers.

The public is welcome. Please call the UW-Extension office at 715-839-4712 if you plan to attend. Reservations aren't necessary, but appreciated.
