FVTC marks FFA partnership anniversary
APPLETON
Over 800 FFA members will converge on Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton on April 1 for Career Development Day.
In connection with National Ag Day, Wisconsin Technical College System official will also mark the 40th anniversary of the FVTC and FFA partnership including a keynote address by WTCS President Morna Foy on the impact of Wisconsin's technical colleges on the ag industry.
Students will also hear the views of a panel comprised of representatives from the financial, agribusiness, commodities sectors and more. Panelists will give FFA members a personal glimpse of careers and the needed skills.
Throughout the day FFA members will participate in skill-based exploration activities on campus in agriculture, horticulture and outdoor power.
