NorthStar Cooperative to host lab open house in Kaukauna

KAUKAUNA - NorthStar Cooperative opened the NorthStar Wisconsin Lab Complex for business May 1 and welcomes dairy producers, veterinarians, legislators and local dignitaries to the facility’s open house from 1 to 3 p.m., Oct. 19.
The open house will provide attendees an opportunity to tour the 11,500 square foot lab at 200 East Kelso Road, Kaukauna.
“NorthStar is excited about our investment for growth in our Wisconsin service area,” said Mark Adam, NorthStar General Manager. “Investing in the Wisconsin Lab Complex, along with the Michigan Lab in 2016; are major commitments to providing the dairy and beef industries state-of-the-art diagnostic services. We’re excited to open our doors to producers and industry friends for this open house.”
Operating at the previous facility for 17 years, NorthStar had outgrown its building space as milk sample analysis had more than quadrupled over that time.
To support sample volume and product sales growth, the new Lab Complex includes an expanded warehouse as well as conference facilities to accommodate NorthStar’s 250+ team members.
