Kids from Wisconsin put out 'open call'
The Kids from Wisconsin began in 1969 as a production created for the Wisconsin State Fair. In its 49th year, KFW continues to perform a diverse repertoire of musical entertainment for all ages and provides performances at State Fair two times daily, plus performing to 120,000 in Wisconsin hometowns annually.

The KFW presents professional entertainment by the most talented performers ages 15-20.
Applicants who applied after Jan. 9 are placed into "Open Call." They will be given a number upon arrival. When slots become available, be prepared to jump in and audition. There is no audition fee for "Open Call."
They cannot guarantee a slot at a specific time but promise to get everybody in.
Apply online at http://www.kidsfromwisconsin.org/info/audition/, and select an audition location. Place the term "Open Call" under the comment section of the application.
Instrumental openings:
- Trombone (tenor or bass)
- Trumpet
- Woodwind: (tenor and alto sax with clarinet and flute doubles)
- Keyboard/ piano (with synthesizer knowledge important)
- Electric bass
- Guitar
- Auxiliary percussion
- Trap Set
