New Wisconsin dairy products showcased
WMMB just released their latest edition of What's New, showcasing some new products from Wisconsin cheesemakers.
Klondike Cheese has introduced Odyssey® Sweet Heat Pepper Crumbled Feta, a fiery new addition to its lineup of feta products. Flavored with red and green jalapeños and habanero peppers, this spicy-yet-tangy cheese can be added to scrambled eggs, omelets and burritos. Or try it mixed into cream cheese and plain Greek yogurt for a zesty spread to serve with pita chips and crudité.
Odyssey Feta is made using the freshest Wisconsin cow's milk by Klondike's master cheesemakers. The line includes a variety of chunk, in-brine and crumbled products in traditional, fat-free and flavors such as peppercorn, Mediterranean herb and tomato basil. Visit www.klondikecheese.com.
Wausome Foods has expanded its line of cheese crisp snacks with new flavors and convenient grab-and-go pouches. Wausome Wafers are now available in Blissfully Bleu Monterey and Wholly Jalapeño Pepper Jack, in addition to the original Clever Cheddar and Hug & Kiss Colby/Swiss flavors.

Saxon Creamery's new Big Ed's Gouda with serrano peppers is a rich, buttery gouda-style cheese that boasts a hint of spice. Try it sliced on a sandwich or shredded over soups and chili.
Saxon Creamery was founded in 1848 by the Klessig family. Five generations later, the family still owns and operates the creamery in Cleveland, taking great care of the 850 acres of pasture that supports their Holstein/Jersey crossbred cows.
Saxon Creamery implemented rotational grazing in 1980, resulting in better milk and happier cows. The company puts ethical treatment of cows and land preservation as top priorities. Visit www.saxoncreamery.com.
Marieke Gouda has won countless awards in various ages and flavors. Truffle Gouda, the newest addition to the line, is already earning accolades of its own.
Made using a traditional gouda recipe from cheesemaker Marieke Penterman's native Holland, the raw milk Wisconsin cheese is flavored with pieces of real black truffles, as well as black and white truffle oil, and aged two to four months.
Marieke Truffle Gouda took first place in the Best U.S. Cheese with Flavor Additive category at the recent International Cheese Awards in Nantwich, England. Visit www.mariekegouda.com.
