KOHLER - For the golfers who want to get some practice strokes in this winter, or the friends looking for a fun group activity, The Kohler Swing Studio & Golf Shop has some new amenities to assist with that.

On Dec. 2, the shop is opening two Topgolf Swing Suite bays that will be large enough for eight people to play, eat and socialize, according to a news release on Tuesday. Beyond virtual golf, the bays will offer other games like dodgeball, hockey, baseball pitching and carnival classics.

“The new Topgolf Swing Suite bays are known for their approachability and entertaining experiences — which is sure to excite both our non-golf and golf guests,” said Mike O’Reilly, Director Golf Operations at Destination Kohler in the release.

More upscale pub food and beverage options including fried meatballs and an array of sliders will roll out at the same time, the release said, on a menu created by Destination Kohler's executive chef, Matt Bauer.

The bays will be available for rent and sit on the north side of the Swing Studio that is located in the Shops at Woodlake Kohler.

Two other Topgolf Swing Suites in the state are in Milwaukee and Green Bay, according to the Topgolf website.

The Kohler Swing Studio is open daily, Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
