The Wisconsin Maple Syrup Producers Association (WMSPA) is hosting its annual Fall Tour in District 1, the Manitowoc/Plymouth area on Oct. 13 starting at the Wisconsin Farm Discovery Center, 7001 Gass Lake Rd. Manitowoc. Tour registration starts at 7:15 a.m.

Buses will leave the Center at 8 a.m. sharp and head two separate ways, meeting for a family style lunch at the Roundhouse in Plymouth and meeting back at the Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center for the last tour of the day.

The Tour will consist of visiting three different sugar bushes: In the Woods Sugarbush, Manitowoc along with Willow Creek Mills, Drewry Farms Maple Products, Plymouth Grandpa Kissinger’s, Elkhart Lake.

The tour will also include tours of the Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center, Wade House (Historical Carriage Museum, Blacksmith Shop and Sawmill, Historic Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides, and Stage Coach Hotel).

Cost of the tour is $25 for children and $40 for adults. The event is open to everyone. Visit www.wismaple.org for an entry form. 

A Friday night optional tour at 7 p.m. on Oct. 12 will visit Cold Country Vines and Wines, E3207 Nuclear Rd., Kewaunee. Cost is $5 (pay at winery).
