MADISON – The Wisconsin 4-H Foundation honored Andis Foundation of Brookfield as a major partner and contributor at the 2017 Wisconsin 4-H Hall of Fame Gala.

“We are truly grateful for the support of generous partners, like Andis Foundation,” says Brenda Scheider, Executive Director for the Wisconsin 4-H Foundation. “Our partners help 4‑H create cutting-edge, relevant programs for young people to learn real-world skills that will prepare them for the challenges of today and tomorrow, moving communities, the state, our county and the world forward in ways no other youth organization can.”

Laura Andis Bishop, President of Andis Foundation, says, “Andis is proud to partner with Wisconsin 4-H’s high-quality youth programs in agriculture. A primary focus of our mission is to develop thriving kids, and this grant is a great fit helping youth develop vital skills outside the traditional classroom to help them succeed in life as well as career.”  

Four generations of generosity and the values of the Andis family created the Andis Foundation that seeks to build strong families, develop thriving kids and foster a vibrant community.

Nearly 150,000 youth participate in the Wisconsin 4-H program, with the majority hailing from urban areas of the state.  More than 22,000 volunteers support the program. Andis Foundation helps support all their efforts.
