Dairy Business Association elects new board member

MADISON, Wis. — Dairy Business Association members elected a new board member during the organization’s annual business meeting on Jan. 17 at the Dairy Strong conference at the Monona Terrace.
Greg Siegenthaler of Grande Cheese was elected as the board’s new corporate representative and farmer representatives Tom Crave and Paul Fetzer were re-elected.
Siegenthaler is vice president of milk marketing and supply chain at Grande, where he has worked for 28 years. He is in his second term on the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association Board of Directors and has been a member of DBA since the organization started. He grew up on a dairy farm that remains in the family.
Siegenthaler replaces Jen Keuning who served the maximum three terms.
Crave, of Crave Brothers Farm in Waterloo, Wis., has been a dairy farmer for 37 years. He served as supervisor on the Portland Town Board for 20 years and helped the township implement its livestock siting law.
Fetzer of Fetzer Farms in Elmwood, Wis., has served on the Ag Partners Co-op Board of Directors for the past 11 years, including two as president. Fetzer is also commander of the local American Legion and is involved with local dairy promotion and county dairy breakfasts.
Officer positions were unchanged: Mike North, president; Crave, vice president; Lloyd Holterman, treasurer; and Amy Penterman, secretary.
