Dodge County Dairy Brunch in need of host farm
JUNEAU - The Dodge County Dairy Promotion Committee is in search of a host farm for the 2018 Dodge County Dairy Brunch to be held Sunday, June 3, 2018. The host farm will help the committee promote the dairy industry in Dodge County. There is only one requirement and that is to have a shed, or like space, that is large enough to hold most of the eating portion of the brunch.
The annual event usually draws close to 1,800 people to the farm. They look forward to the food, ice cream and seeing what a Dodge County dairy farm looks like. All proceeds from the event goes towards Dodge County Dairy Promotion Committee programs for local organizations, Dodge County 4-H Clubs and FFA groups in funding their dairy promotion needs.
If a host farm is not found, the committee holds the brunch at the Dodge County Fairgrounds.
For more information or if interested in hosting the brunch, contact Brenda Conley at 920-625-3691 or visit the Dodge County Dairy Brunch Facebook page.
The Dodge County Dairy Promotion Committee is a nonprofit organization that educates the public about the nutritional value of dairy products and gives the community facts about dairy farming and related dairy industries. The goal of these programs has been to increase sales of dairy products and to enhance the image of area farmers and related dairy industries.
