Update: Names released in Jefferson County farm machinery crash
TOWN OF LAKE MILLS - The names of those involved in a farm machinery crash in Jefferson County that claimed the lives of three people have been released.

The crash that occurred about 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, on County Highway B, about a half-mile west of Stoney Creek Road in the Town of Lake Mills. The crash involving a John Deere combine and a Toyota Rav4 resulted in the deaths of all occupants in the SUV.
According to a news release sent out by Jefferson County Sheriff Paul Milbrath on Monday afternoon, The driver of the combine was identified as Donna J. Martin, 74, of Waterloo, WI. Martin was not injured in the crash.
The Toyota was being operated by Brian J. Schantz, 57, of Cottage Grove. The front seat passenger in his vehicle was identified as Ildred G. Schantz, 90, of Cottage Grove, WI. The passenger in the rear seat was identified as Alan I. Schantz, 60, of Hawaii.
According to a sheriff's official, Martin had exited a farm field driveway on the south side of County Highway B and was attempting to cross the highway to enter a farm field driveway on the north side of County B when the westbound SUV struck the combine.
The crash remains under investigation by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office Major Accident Investigation Team.
