Agribusiness tour visits three facilities

VALDERS - An agribusiness tour hosted by CP Feeds, Quality Roasting, Country Visions Cooperative and the Wisconsin Agri-business Association will be held from 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 6 at West Washington Street and Marken Road. 

The event provides an opportunity to learn more about the agribusiness industry and the economic impact is has on communities and/or legislative districts. 

CP Feeds, Quality Roasting and Country Visions Cooperative have a combined annual sales of $420 million, they serve more than 14,000 customers and employ more than 400 employees. The three companies service 500,000 acres and make feed for 700,000 cows. 

The event includes a tour of the agribusiness facilities and a chance to see some of the equipment used to serve agricultural products.
