Manawa FFA Alumni hosts Bluegrass Bash

The Manawa FFA Alumni Bluegrass Bash fundraiser will be held Oct. 13 - 14 at Bear Lake Resort, Manawa. 

The event starts Friday, Oct. 13 with a fish fry followed by music starting at 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, music starts at 1 p.m. with five groups playing. 

Admission is $20 at the door. Included in the price is a raffle for a $100 first prize, $50 second prize and two $25 consolation prizes. The event includes a silent auction at the along with a Paddle Raffle and a couple of 50/50 raffles.

Sponsors help cover the cost of the bands.

The past generosity of sponsors for Bluegrass Bash X, has allowed the Manawa FFA Alumni to contribute $1,350 ($575 for the World Dairy Expo Bus and $775 for the National Convention) last year. So far this year (2017), $5,200 in scholarships and entrepreneurial grants have been awarded.
