Janesville Farm & Fleet collecting donations for Harvey victims

JANESVILLE - Blain’s Farm & Fleet is partnering with Hufcor and the JJ Watt Foundation, established by Wisconsin native and Houston Texans football star, JJ Watt, to enable the community to help the more than 200,000 Houstonians devastated by Hurricane Harvey.

Requested donations include: buckets, sponges, rubber gloves, hand sanitizer, water gallons, disinfectant wipes, kitchen trash bags, and pet supplies.

Blain’s Farm & Fleet, 2421 Old Humes Road, Janesville, opened at 6 a.m., Friday, Sept. 1, so that folks can purchase donation items that will then be loaded onto relief trailers outside the store.

Alternatively, those interested in donating may bringing new, unopened items from home. Hufcor and Blain's Farm & Fleet trailers will be on site for loading and will then be hauled to Houston for distribution by the JJ Watt Foundation. 

Donations can be made until 6 p.m., Friday, Sept. 1.
