DARIEN - An equestrian seminar and tack sale to benefit SMILES (Special Methods in Learning Equine Skills, Inc.) will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 18, at the SMILES heated indoor arena at N2666 County K, Darien. 

Keynote speakers will be the highlight of the event with topics including: Julie Cyra of West 20 Ranch and Saddle Co.,saddle fitting; Katey McClymont, exercises and stretches to “Get Fit for Riding”; Nicole Llamas, show ready: Tips and Tricks”.  In addition, a panel of horse show judges (including Tia Koehler, Dana Panella and Dale Timmerman) will provide lively discussion and insight into how to improve your presence in the ring.

In addition to keynote speakers, there will be food, raffles, and the sale of horse related items directly benefiting SMILES Premier Accredited Center. Donations of saddles or tack can be arranged by calling the SMILES office at (262) 882-3470. Admission is $5.
