KOSSUTH - A driver was seriously injured when his semitrailer hauling manure collided with farm equipment on Manitowoc County T near Polifka Road.

At about 8 a.m. Feb. 1, the driver of the semi was attempting to pass the driver of a Loadall telescopic handler as they both headed south on Manitowoc County T, and hit the Loadall as the driver was making a left turn onto Polifka Road, according to a news release from the Manitowoc County Sheriff's Department.

The Loadall went into a ditch south of Polifka Road, and the semi overturned onto its driver's side, blocking both lanes of traffic.
