MADISON - The Wisconsin 4-H Foundation honored Compeer Financial, headquartered in Sun Prairie, as a major partner and contributor at the 2017 Wisconsin 4-H Hall of Fame Gala on April 27.

“We are truly grateful for the support of generous partners, like Compeer,” says Brenda Scheider, Executive Director for the Wisconsin 4-H Foundation. “Our partners help 4‑H create cutting-edge, relevant programs for young people to learn real-world skills that will prepare them for the challenges of today and tomorrow, moving communities, the state, our county and the world forward in ways no other youth organization can.”

Rochelle Ripp Schnadt, Communications Specialist at Compeer says, “Compeer Financial, formerly Badgerland Financial, AgStar Financial Services and 1st Farm Credit Services, is committed to supporting the Wisconsin

4-H Foundation both monetarily and through team member engagement because of the great leadership development and educational opportunities made available to youth throughout Wisconsin. As part of the Farm Credit System, Compeer Financial is a champion for rural America and the 4-H program to support the agriculture industry’s future leaders.”

Nearly 150,000 youth participate in the Wisconsin 4-H program, with the majority hailing from urban areas of the state.  More than 22,000 volunteers support the program. Compeer helps support all their efforts.
