Dairy Strong set for Jan. 18-19, 2017
Hundreds of dedicated members of the U.S. dairy community will gather Jan. 18-19, 2017, at the Monona Terrace Community & Convention Center, in Madison, WI, for the third annual Dairy Strong conference.
This past January, more than 600 attendees from 17 states and four countries attended the event. Nearly 135,000 cows were represented at the event in 2016.
Dairy Strong organizers are working hard to build content that parallels the opportunities and challenges faced by dairy farmers today. To that end, the theme for 2017 is 'The Journey Forward'.
Topics, speakers and other exciting updates will be announced in the coming months. Dana Perino will serve as the opening keynote for Dairy Strong 2017. Perino is a former White House press secretary, political commentator, New York Times No. 1 best-selling author, and co-host of Fox's 'The Five.'
'The dairy community is creative and innovative. Dairy Strong brings farmers and industry professionals from diverse management philosophies together to focus on what matters to our community,' says Gordon Speirs, president of the Dairy Business Association. 'We work hard to provide content that is relevant, inspiring and entertaining.'
Dairy Strong provides attendees the chance to listen to inspiring keynotes, participate in practical sessions and engage with the nation's leading industry suppliers on the trade show floor.
Updates and announcements about Dairy Strong will be posted at dairystrong.org. Sponsorships and exhibit space are available and early reservations are recommended for prime options.
The Dairy Business Association is a nonprofit organization comprised of Wisconsin dairy farmers, milk processors, vendors and business partners who came together in 1999 to reinvigorate the state's dairy community.
