Ariana Grande remembers Mac Miller with touching Instagram photo following his death
Rapper Mac Miller's Sept. 27 death by accidental overdose was confirmed by his final autopsy report, published Nov. 5.
Ariana Grande remembered her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller on Saturday without saying a word.
The singer posted a stark black-and-white image on Instagram of Miller gazing up at her. There was no caption and the comments were disabled. Miller died Friday after being found unresponsive in his Los Angles home.
Miller was featured on Grande's breakout 2013 track, "The Way," beginning a successful working relationship. The two took things to the next level and started a romantic relationship in 2016, with Grande appearing on Miller's single "My Favorite Part" the same year.
Grande, 25, and Miller, 26, broke up in May, and Grande spoke about their "toxic" relationship and his substance abuse problems. Grande is currently engaged to "Saturday Night Live" star Pete Davidson.
Miller released his album "Swimming" in August, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart. “I just wanna go on tour,” he tweeted on Thursday. “The show is going to be special every night. I wish it started tomorrow.”
Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner Public Information Officer Sarah Ardalani said Friday in a statement that an autopsy on Miller is pending and the "cause of death has not been determined."
