Still time to submit Mother and food memories
Whether your mom put Betty Crocker to shame or preferred brownies out of the box, we are asking readers to share their memories of mom and the food she laid before us on the table day in and day out.
In honor of Mom, we are asking readers to share with us the food legacy she left you, for a special food page set to run Friday, May 11, just in time for Mother's Day. We will choose four winners out of the reader submissions to receive a "Best of Country Potluck Recipes" cookbook.
If your story involves a recipe, please send that as well. Photos are also welcome. Send to Colleen Kottke at firstname.lastname@example.org with “Mom Food Legacy” as the subject line or mail to: Wisconsin State Farmer, W6119 Lost Arrow Rd., Fond du Lac, WI 54937. Be sure to include your name and daytime or cell phone number, the community you live in, and your mother’s name (and your address in case your submission is chosen for a cookbook).
The deadline for receiving your submission is Tuesday, May 9.
