Grammy Awards attendees may not have been able to see past Beyoncé's accessory during Sunday's show, but that's just the price to pay for a standout accessory.

Bey wore an oversize black hat while sitting next to the black-clad Jay-Z and white-dressed Blue Ivy in Madison Square Garden. She paired the black headpiece with sunglasses, huge earrings and a long-sleeve velvet gown.

This major hat moment for the nominee (who received a nod for best rap/sung collaboration for Family Feud with Jay-Z), follows one from Saturday. Beyoncé wore another all-black outfit and beret at Clive Davis' pre-Grammy gala, where her husband was honored and she was celebrated with a standing ovation.

Vogue reports that Nicolas Jebran designed Bey's Grammy night gown, and in an email, told the magazine, "The idea was to create a moment, a memorable design with meaning because it’s more than just a gown." Jebran told Vogue that the Black Panther movement was a reference point and that his "favorite element (was) the bold, broad shoulders because they symbolize power.”

Of course, Beyoncé has stunned in black and iconic hats before. Remember the wide-brimmed accessory she had for her Formation music video

Bey didn't have the best hat of the pre-show, however, because she apparently skipped the red carpet. So that honor may have gone to Tyler, the Creator.
