Stir Crazy Fresh Asian Grill, 15795 Bluemound Road, has closed.

After 15 years, Stir Crazy Fresh Asian Grill in Brookfield has closed.

A sign on the door announced the restaurant was permanently closed. The permanent closure follows a one-day closure July 2 caused by a water main break.

According to online court documents, Stir Crazy, listed as TJG LLC, was ordered to surrender the premises July 8 during an eviction hearing before Waukesha County Circuit Judge Ralph Ramirez in a lawsuit brought by Brookfield Square Parcel LLC.

A court summons said TJG owes Brookfield Square Parcel $110,488.19 in past due rent.

A sign announces the closing of Stir Crazy Fresh Asian Grill, 15795 Bluemound Road, on July 8.

According to the summons, TJG fell behind in its rent payment, real estate tax obligations and installment payments due on a promissory note it gave to Brookfield Square.

Brookfield Square is requesting a monetary judgement against TJG for unpaid rent, the amount due on the promissory note and all other charges owed under its lease, as well as attorney fees and collection costs.

The case is scheduled to be back in court Sept. 16.

Stir Crazy has restaurants in Florida, Illinois and Missouri. The Brookfield restaurant was the only Wisconsin location.
