La Crosse — Today, U.S. Rep. Ron Kind announced that Brad Pfaff is rejoining his office as Deputy Chief of Staff – Wisconsin. Brad, a Wisconsin native, will assist with constituent relations, outreach, agriculture policy and strategic planning.
“As a native of rural Wisconsin, with extensive experience in agriculture policy and management, Brad is going to bring valuable knowledge to serving the people of western and central Wisconsin. I am incredibly excited to have Brad rejoin my office, and look forward to working with him to make sure we are reaching out, listening and addressing the concerns of residents in every county in Wisconsin’s Third Congressional District,” said Rep. Kind.
Brad has considerable national and state-level agriculture government management experience. For the past seven years, he worked at a senior-level with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Farm Service Agency. At the USDA Farm Service Agency, Brad served as the deputy administrator for Farm Programs, a position that is responsible for the implementation and delivery of all Title I crop commodity programs and the Conservation Reserve Program, authorized in the 2014 Farm Bill.
Previous to his role as national Deputy Administrator for Farm Programs at USDA, Farm Service Agency, he served as state executive director for the Farm Service Agency in Wisconsin.
Brad was raised on a family dairy farm in northern La Crosse County and has a master's and bachelor's degree in public administration. He and his wife, along with their two children, live in Onalaska.
