Four speakers are scheduled for the Outagamie County Master Gardeners spring conference, which will be held on Saturday, April 2 at the Liberty Hall Conference Center.

Following the conference opening remarks at 8:45 a.m., keynote speaker Jeff Epping, who is the director of horticulture at the Olbrich Botanical Gardens in Madison, will give one of his two presentations for the day. They are titled 'The Mixed Border – Lower Maintenance Garden Design' and 'Shrubs for All Seasons.'

Raised bed gardening will be the topic for Noel Valdes, who is the inventor of the CobraHead garden tool. Professional florist Kathleen Johnson will describe floral arranging for the home the gardener. Outdoor writer and photograper Rob Zimmer's presentation is titled 'Theme Gardens.'

The $45 registration fee covers all the sessions, lunch, snacks, beverages, access to vendors, and a chance to win attendance prizes. Online registration is available on the ocmga.net/2016-garden-conference.aspx website.
