·Farm workers: farm, ranch and aquaculture. Projected 2022 jobs: 6,956. Increase from 2012: 59. Education: Less than high school. Median pay: $25,790.

·Soil and plant scientists. Projected 2022 jobs: 695. Increase from 2012: 44. Education: Bachelor's degree. Median pay: $56,230.

·Agricultural and food science technician. Projected 2022 jobs: 1,660. Increase from 2012: 38. Education: Associates degree. Median pay: $37,030.

·Forester. Projected 2022 jobs: 741. Increase from 2012: 38. Education: Bachelor's degree. Median pay: $53,690.

·Buyers and purchasing agents, farm products. Projected 2022 jobs: 328. Increase from 2012: 23. Education: High school diploma. Median pay: $56,150.
