The public is invited to come and taste 50 of the best cheeses from nations around the globe and watch judges determine the single best cheese from 2,925 entries from 23 countries during the final round of the World Championship Cheese contest.
The event will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. March 9, in the Grand Ballroom of Monona Terrace, Madison. Advance tickets are $25 each and are available online at worldchampioncheese.org.
The signature event of the 2016 World Championship Cheese Contest is open to only 500 attendees, with all tickets
sold in advance. Proceeds benefit the Wisconsin Center for Dairy Research's graduate student program, ensuring another generation of dairy scientists in America's Dairyland.
