Juneau -  The Dodge Fondy Corn Growers will hold an informational meeting on Thursday February 23 at the Pizza Ranch in Waupun, located at 900 W. Main Street. The meeting will begin at noon. All area farmers are encouraged to attend.

Presentations will include information on corn traits and variety trials given by Dr. Joe Lauer, UW-Extension Corn Agronomist; and seed treatments and neonicotinoid insecticides addressed by Dr. Loretta Ortiz-Ribbing, UW-Extension Crops and Soils Area Agent.

In addition, precautions and new label requirements for using new herbicide products will be the focus of talks by Steve Synder, Enlist Field Specialist with Dow Agro, and Nathan Falk, Technical Agronomist Jung Seed Genetics.  The group also will discuss plans for future programs, so please bring your input.

The valuable information is free but lunch will be at your own expense.
