Wisconsin Dells — FarmFirst Dairy Cooperative's 5th Annual Meeting is set for Feb. 10-11, 2017 at Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells, WI.
Producers from across the Midwest will meet to share perspectives on the year ahead as well as pass resolutions that will help guide the direction of the cooperative’s advocacy and political involvement. More importantly, key conversations will be had on what we can do within this industry to help share our message.
Producer Discovery Workshops will be held on Friday afternoon.
What Impacts Trade and the Value to Your Farm, 1:15 p.m.. features Jaime Castaneda, VP of Strategic Initiatives & Trade Policy for NMPF, as he will share facts and figures of what global trade means for your operation.
Castaneda is responsible for leading NMPF in a number of domestic policy initiatives in addition to handling International Trade Affairs for the U.S. Dairy Export Council (USDEC) and international trade negotiations for the U.S. dairy industry.
Understanding the Consumer Connection, 2:45 p.m., will feature a panel of speakers, each sharing their own experiences of addressing and witnessing consumer concerns while answering questions led by our panel moderator and Radio/TV Broadcaster, Mike Austin.
Austin has been covering Agricultural news and events for over 30 years in Northeastern Wisconsin.
