TOWN OF WIEN - Five hundred tractors and more than a dozen steam engines were on display this weekend near Edgar for the 43rd annual North Central Wisconsin Antique Steam & Gas Engine Show.
Hobbyists gave threshing, sawing and harvesting demonstrations with the antique engines. Some are more than 100 years old.
The North Central Wisconsin Antique Steam & Gas Engine Club puts on the event each year. Last year, it drew about 17,000 and organizers hope for the same turnout this year, said Club President Greg Szemborski.
The purpose of the event is to demonstrate history, Szemborski said.
