Wisconsin Farm Technology Days 2013 cookbook planned

April 26, 2012 | 0 comments

The Family Living Committee of the Barron County Farm Technology Days will be publishing a cookbook entitled; "Blending Tastes of Generations."

The cookbook is part of the Wisconsin Farm Technology Days hosted in Barron County in July of 2013.

Recipes came from around the county and beyond and celebrate the best in family cooking.

The cookbook contains close to 1000 recipes across nine categories with unique sections such as Cooking for A Crowd, Slow Cooker Recipes, and Wild Game.

Along with recipes, the cookbook features historic pictures and narratives of Barron County farms and families.

The book may be purchased for $15 and will be available for the first time in July 2012 at the Barron County Fair and other area businesses to be announced at a later date.

The three-day Farm Technology Days event draws over 60,000 visitors. Wisconsin Farm Technology Days will be hosted by Breezy Hill Dairy of Dallas, owners Alex and Mary Olson on July 9-11, 2013.

For more information about the cookbook, contact Linda Thuftin at 715-357-3481, Carol Moen 715-458-2821 or Kaye Leaman 715-949-1175.
