Nov. 8, 2012 | 0 comments

Women from the Wisconsin agriculture community are encouraged to attend the third annual Wisconsin Ag Women's Summit, March 15-16, 2013, at the Madison Marriott West in Madison.

Early registration is open now until Feb. 15, 2013, where women can save $25 to attend the two-day Wisconsin Ag Summit. Early bird registration is $115. After the Feb. 15 deadline, registration will be $140.

The Wisconsin Ag Women's Summit is presented by Badgerland Financial, Wisconsin Farm Bureau and University of Wisconsin-Extension.

The purpose of the Wisconsin Ag Women's Summit is to connect women involved in all areas of Wisconsin's diverse agriculture community.

Summit attendees will be engaged in diverse topics such as agriculture advocacy, personal finance, technology, photography and health and wellness.

There will also be entertainment by OD TAPO IMI.

Keynote speakers include Jolene Brown with "It's a Jungle Out There: Blazing a New Trail for Agriculture" and Jackie Bredl-Dietrich with "A Life of Gratitude and Meaning."

New this year at the Wisconsin Ag Women's Summit will be the announcement of the 2013 AgVocate of the Year. This award will honor a Wisconsin woman who is an innovative leader and has contributed to the success of Wisconsin agriculture.

The nomination form is now available and is due Feb. 1, 2013.

A full agenda and registration details are available at badgerlandfinancial.com, or visit the Wisconsin Ag Women's Summit on their Facebook page. Questions may be directed to Deb Raemisch at 608-828-5712 or Krista Kasten at 608-356-4903 ext. 0149.
