Wichita conference focuses

on female farmers, Feb. 10-11

A conference focusing on the growing number of women who own and manage farms takes place next month in Wichita.

The annual Women Managing the Farm Conference will be held Feb. 10-11 at the Hyatt Regency.

Conference coordinator Janet Barrows says in a news release that farm women are gaining increasing recognition for their contributions to agriculture.

The two-day conference includes presentations on business planning, health and managing employees.
