A Vermont cheese company that was launched late last year is expanding its distribution.

The Vermont Farmstead Cheese Co. in Woodstock says it's now being distributed in 15 states, from New England to Texas, after securing partnerships with five distributors.

The Rutland Herald reported that Vermont Farmstead has also expanded its production by installing a new vat in September, increasing cheese production from 17,000 pounds to 48,000 pounds per month.
