UW-Madison Saddle & Sirloin Badger Bonanza Lamb Show

March 28, 2013 | 0 comments

This year's Badger Bonanza Lamb Show is slated Sunday, May 5.

The event will again be a double-header show that will take place at the Arlington Public Events Center (N695 Hopkins Rd., Arlington, WI 53911).

Entry forms and more information will be available online at www.uwsaddleandsirloin.com beginning April 5.

UW-Madison Saddle & Sirloin Club annually hosts the Badger Bonanza Lamb Show, which draws in youth and their lambs from Wisconsin and the surrounding states.

This show provides area youth a chance to get their lambs into the show ring early in the season.

The Badger Bonanza is a sanctioned show by the Wisconsin Club Lamb Association (WCLA). The show is also open to non-WCLA members.

For more information on WCLA sanctioned shows and a list of their updated rules, visit www.wisconsinclublambassociation.com.

The grand and reserve champion lambs from each show will be awarded cash prizes. Class payouts will be prorated as past years and showmanship classes will be offered with prizes awarded to the winners of each age category.

This year there is a newly added age group for younger Wisconsin Club Lamb Association members.

For more information contact Mackenzie Nickels at mnickels@wisc.edu or 608-931-1711.
