SHEBOYGAN

Vendor tables, guest speakers, local food activities, and informational displays will be on the agenda for a local food fair to be held from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22 at Maywood Environmental Park, 3615 Mueller Road.

Titled "Local Food for Global Thought," the fair accepts vendors from within a 50-mile radius. To obtain more information about participating, interested individuals and businesses should call 920-459-3906 or send an e-mail to Angela.Fischer@sheboyganwi.gov.

Vendors who need electric power will be charged for that service. Those who do not are not charged to participate.

The fair is designed to acquaint the public with the choices of food grown within the local area and to encourage connections between consumers and food producers. No craft entries are accepted for the fair.
