PLYMOUTH

Sheboygan County's 4th Annual Showcase of Champions will recognize the hard-work and accomplishments of dairy youth exhibitors at the 2014 Sheboygan County Fair.

The Showcase of Champions is a recognition program and auction sponsored by the Sheboygan County Dairy Committee and will be held on Monday, Sept. 1, at 1:30 pm, or immediately following the Blue Ribbon Small Animal Auction (whichever is later) in the Sheboygan County Fair coliseum.

The Showcase of Champions will feature seven lots representing youth dairy projects. The auction lots will consist of: the four showmanship class winners, the exhibitor of the supreme champion dairy female, the exhibitor of the supreme champion heifer and a special item for the Dairy Youth Recognition Fund. A thank you basket filled with cheese and a print will be given to the winning bidder of each lot in appreciation of their support to the dairy youth.

The Dairy Youth Recognition Fund supports the educational development of Sheboygan County Dairy Youth in the areas of scholarships, agribusiness tours, speakers, exhibiting at the State Fair, dairy judging competitions and dairy quiz bowl contests.

Bidder registration will be available ½ hour prior to the auction. For more information on to support the Dairy Youth Recognition Program, contact Heidi Ridge at 920-467-4241or heidiridge@rocketmail.com.
