Feb. 5, 2014 | 0 comments

SHIOCTON

With concerns about having adequate fuel on hand being aggravated by this winter's severe weather and with new federal requirements for having formal plans on how to deal with spills from storage units, two seminars are being offered on the topic on Monday, Feb. 10.

Sponsored by the Scenic Valley Cooperative of Seymour, the seminar schedule provides attendees with a choice of 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. starting times. The sessions will be held at the River Rail, 99 River St. in Shiocton.

Compliance requirements set by the Environmental Protection Agency apply to any farms, ranches, and businesses that store fuel or other petroleum products on their property. Attendees are asked to call 405-509-5642 for a reservation at the seminar. A free meal will be served.

More information is also available by calling Scenic Valley Cooperative at 920-833-2349 or 800-686-1336 or on its www.scenicvalleycoop.com website.
