Pumpkins on the Petunias

fall festival set for Oct. 5-6

The annual Pumpkins on the Petunias fall festival will be held Oct. 5-6 in Berlin.

Activities include a pumpkin contest, tractor pull, Kids Zone, soapbox derby, tractor parade, vendors, Movin' On the Mascoutin Bike Ride, duck race, live music, car show, great food and a "Cow Drop."

The fun begins at 5 p.m. Friday with a tractor pull and pig roast, and continues from 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Saturday.

The Movin' On the Mascoutin Bike Ride begins at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, with participants riding a 12-mile trail from Ripon to Berlin.

The Cow Drop takes place during the tractor parade at noon on Saturday. Tickets are $5 each and are available from local merchants for a chance to win $500.
