Premier Insurance Solutions awards agriculture scholarship

For the seventh consecutive year, Premier Insurance Solutions has awarded four $1,000 scholarships to high school senior and college students pursuing high education.

This year's recipients are Rosemary Herschleb, DeForest; Derek Fenner, Neshkoro; Austin Sandmire, North Freedom; and Maria Bjugstad, Evansville.

Herschleb is attending University of Wisconsin-Platteville pursuing her Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science.

Fenner is currently a senior at Westfield Area High School.

He will be attending UW-River Falls next fall working towards his Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science and continuing into Veterinary Medicine.

Sandmire is attending UW-River Falls with a focus on agriculture.

Bjugstad is currently a senior at Evansville High School. She will be attending UW-Stevens Point next fall.

All applicants were evaluated on their extracurricular activities, leadership abilities, goals, and their involvement in agriculture.
