Producers who grow and sell corn in the following counties are eligible to nominate a producer or to be nominated at this time:

• District 3 - Forest, Florence, Marinette, Langlade, Oconto, Shawano, Door, Outagamie, Brown, Kewaunee, Winnebago, Calumet, Manitowoc, Fond du Lac and Sheboygan.

• District 5 - LaCrosse, Vernon, Crawford, Richland, Grant, Iowa and Lafayette.

• District 6 - Sauk and Dane.

A nomination form must include signatures of at least five other eligible corn producers from the district in which the nominee is running for election. The notarized Affidavit of Eligibility must be completed on the nomination form. DATCP will accept nominations through Nov. 30. To receive a nomination form, contact DATCP's Noel Favia at 800-942-2474 or the Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board at 262-495-2232.

DATCP plans to hold the elections for corn producers to vote from Dec. 19, 2011 through Jan. 4, 2012.
