Champions selected at Indiana Angus Preview Show

LEBANON, IN

Angus enthusiasts led 138 entries at the 2014 Indiana Angus Association Preview Show, June 7 in Lebanon, IN. Andrew Foster, Niles, MI, evaluated 15 bulls, 122 females and one cow-calf pairs before choosing winners.

HB Patton Superiority 4 was named grand champion bull. Patton Farms, Crawfordsville, IN, owns the March 2012 son of QLC Superior 146Y. He first won senior champion.

Lemenager Cattle, Hudson, IL, and Barber Livestock, Elwood, IN, own the reserve grand champion bull. Lemenager Main Asset is a September 2012 son of Patton Lemenager CLA Assett. He first won reserve senior champion.

PVF Blackbird 3071 claimed supreme champion and grand champion female honors after first winning late junior champion. Austin Nowatzke, Michigan City, IN, owns the March 2013 daughter of Dameron First Class.

Burke Tuggle, Attica, IN, led the reserve grand champion female. TT Lady Traveler 384 is a May 2013 daughter of Dameron First Impression. She first won intermediate champion.

Rachel Sutherlin, Greencastle, IN, exhibited the grand champion cow-calf pair. GHG Primrose 210 RS is a January 2012 daughter of S A V Pioneer 7301. Her calf is a January 2014 heifer sired by S A V Bismarck 5682.
