Kaltenberg replaces Lemke on the Wisconsin FTD board of directors

April 18, 2013 | 0 comments

Jack Kaltenberg of Partners In Production, LLC. replaced Rick Lemke of Lemke Seeds on the Wisconsin Farm Technology Days Board of Directors following the April 3 board meeting in Madison.

Lemke has represented the crop-related exhibitors on the board for the past nine years, three terms of three years each. Through Lemke, Lemke Seeds of Mequon has been a strong supporter of WFTD for many years.

Throughout his career in the seed business Kaltenberg has been actively involved in WFTD as an exhibitor and former board member. He served on the WFTD board from 1992-98. He served as a volunteer during the Dane County WFTD show in Dane County.

Partners in Production of Arlington, provides seed including corn, soybeans, wheat, alfalfa and tillage radish.

The WFTD Board of Directors sets the policy for this annual show to insure consistency and continuity as the show moves from county to county. The board membership consists of four exhibitors, who represent farm machinery, building/construction, crop production and animal agriculture.

Other board members represent state and federal government agencies, University of Wisconsin-Madison and UW-Extension. A current or previous host farmer serves on the board as well.
