Police and firefighters in a western Michigan community have rounded up a couple of wayward cows and helped to free about two dozen more after a cattle hauler overturned.
Mlive.com reports that the trailer overturned early Wednesday morning (Oct. 31) on a freeway in Kent County's Gaines Township.
Authorities say the truck driver was dazed but unhurt.
About 30 cows were trapped inside the overturned trailer, and the two that got out were wandering around on the south side of M-6.
Authorities put the two cows on a separate trailer provided by a firefighter, and the others were removed one-by-one from the overturned hauler.
