One of the largest cover crop farm-based research events in the country, the field day includes educational booths and exhibits on sustainable/eco-friendly cover crop practices. Attendees can tour Cedar Meadow Farm's more than 100 field-scale test plots. The farm yielded 190 bushels of corn/acre without the use of nitrogen, as confirmed by Penn State University Agriculture Department.
