One of the largest cover crop farm-based research events in the country, the field day includes educational booths and exhibits on sustainable/eco-friendly cover crop practices. There will also be presentations on the advantages of cover crops by an international panel of experts including Steve Groff, Fredric Thomas, Ray Archuleta, Bill Curran, Charlie White and Ron Hoover.

Attendees can tour Cedar Meadow Farm's more than 100 field-scale test plots. The farm yielded 190 bushels of corn/acre without the use of nitrogen, as confirmed by Penn State University Agriculture Department.

Cedar Meadow Farm is located at 535 Drytown Road, Holtwood, Penn. Register at www.covercropsolutions.com.

The event is hosted by Cover Crop Solutions, Inc., a seed company based in Robesonia, Penn.
