The new issue of the Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Food and Nutrition Research Briefs and its Spanish-language edition (Informe de investigaciones de alimentos y nutrición) are now available online. View the English edition here.

Among the findings in the current issue:

• An enhanced freeze-dry technique for processing salmon could add value to fish components usually considered to be less appealing.

• ARS scientists and cooperators have developed a fully cooked food-aid product, called Instant Corn Soy Blend, which supplements meals, particularly for young children.
