Allis-Chalmers Farm Equipment Highlighted at 61st Annual Show
Allis-Chalmers tractors and farm equipment and related brand names will be featured when the Wisconsin Steam Antique Engine Club stages its 61st annual show at the Calumet County Fairgrounds on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 10-11.
In addition to the tractor and equipment displays of all brand lines, the show includes demonstrations of several models of steam engines and small gasoline engines, toy vendors, and dyno testing. There will also be displays of model trains and a table farmstead.
Among the equipment scheduled to be on the grounds are threshers, feed mills, feed cutters, and clover hullers. Grain threshing, shingle sawing, a operating sawmill are also part of the show activities.
The lady members of the club will have a booth. Food and refreshments will be available throughout the show (10 a.m.-4 p.m. each day).
Admission fees are $5 per adult and $1 for children age 12-16. Children under 12 are admitted free when accompanied by a parent.
